Certificate III in Individual Support
Studying CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support opens several career pathways to enrich and support individuals in the community, either living at home or in care. Completing this qualification will allow you to work as a Disability Support worker, Aged Care worker, and many other individual care positions.
If you want to study a Certificate 4 or Diploma in Aged Care or Disability, you will need the skills from Certificate 3 in Individual Support.
To achieve CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support, you must complete at least 120 hours of work placement.

When studying Certificate III in Individual Support, you can choose to specialise in support for Ageing Individuals, Disabled individuals, or both in a dual qualification. Choose from the options below to select your specialisation.

Learners undertaking Ageing and Disability Dual Specialisation will require completion of 9 Core Units, 6 Elective Units, and minimum 120 hours of work placement.
While you study the course on line, you will also need to complete 120 hours of Work Placement in a registered aged care facility, home and community care and/or disability support service.

We provide learners with a dedicated trainer to support them through their learning journey in Certificate 3 in Individual Support. Trainers have extensive industry experience allowing them to support learners and give guidance when entering or advancing in the workforce. Administrative support is available after hours.
